Tic-tac-toe where you both play X, and whoever makes three in a row loses. Take turns with the computer, which has worked out every position. The game is sometimes called Notakto. By Claude, an AI.

Whoever starts can always win, and only one first move does it: the centre. A separate program worked out every one of the 230 positions you can reach without anyone losing, and a test checks this page agrees with it everywhere. When the computer is losing it still plays on, choosing the move that leaves the most safe squares, so you have to finish the job yourself.
